Gender Space

Gender Space offers a social model of support for children, young people and their families. To access this support, young people need to be aged between 13-18 (up to 19th birthday) and living in Yorkshire. For Parents/Carers to access support, they do not need to have a young person taking part in Gender Space, but their young person does need to meet the age and location criteria above.

We recognise the importance of gender identity being validated and expressed in a safe space, which is what we provide in this service. Our support is online and is a mixture of one-to-one support and group work, which is all therapeutically informed. There may also be the option of up to 6 one-to-one therapy sessions, after the group work.
